With the growing number of requests for customized GoPro Session mounts, I thought it was time for a universal mount. This can be moved from frame to frame, by cutting zipties or removing a strap.

Available in many different angles.

Opterra Pan/Tilt FPV camera mechanism

The Horizon Hobby Opterra is a great plane to fly, especially with an Eagle Tree Vector.

With the Vector in auto mode, and with this mount, you can look around while you are flying.

I saw a lot of pan/tilt mechs, and didn’t like any of them, so I made a small, streamlined turret-style mount specifically for the Opterra.

This could easily be used on many different platforms.

Servos/screws/control rods not included.

This mount fits the standard Hobby King 9 gram servos. I recommend the metal gear servo for the bottom.

TGY-50090M or similar

This mount is printed in black PETG for strength

Made from TPU, this mount is very light and effective.

UBad Kama – HD Pod – for Connex Prosight

The Kama Pod is an awesome way to keep your electronics safe, and now, you can do the same with your HD Electronics.

This kit comes with the Pod, the Antenna holders, and the camera backpack that allows it to line up with standard hs1177 holes.

The pod and antenna protector mounts are made from TPU and the backpack is made with PETG.

hardware not included:

(4) 10mm M3 button head screws

(4) m3 non-locking nuts

(2) servo screws, or 8mm m2 screws for fpv cam mounting.

MRM Scythe/XBR GoPro Session Pod

Made from TPU, this Session Pod is based off of a thingiverse file. I redesigned it to allow for camera mounting, and non-nylock style nuts to be integrated.

Hardware not included:

4 non-nylock m3 nuts

4 10mm m3 screws

2 8mm m2 screws for foxeer cam, or servo screws for hs1177

X-Frame GoPro Session Mount

This GoPro Session mount was built for the UBad Katana, but works with most x-frames featuring a flight controller-stack mounting shape.

Made from TPU, it is nearly indestructible, and will help protect your gopro session.

Camera angle at 35 degrees.

GoPro Session Top Protector

The UBAD Kama Hero Pod protects your electronic guts from dew, dirt and grass, and now it can hold a GoPro Hero 3 or 4.

Atmospheric Adventures Aeolus Pod

The AAA pod is a lightweight solution to keep your electronics safe.

Made from TPU, it features an xt-60 connector mount in the rear – simply double-sided tape the xt-60 to the carbon fiber, and the pod is still removable.

Camera angles lock in at 30,45,60 degrees.

(2) 8mm m2 bolts or servo screws for fpv camera

(4) 10mm button head m3 screws for mounting

(4) m3 non-nylock nuts for mounting – nylock nuts will strip out the TPU!!!

Kama Pod V2 – with GoPro Session mount

The Kama Pod v1 is awesome, but didn’t allow for any hd camera mounting.

The Kama Pod v2 is lighter, provides better mounting options, and carries a GoPro Session.

I would love to have kept the bolts under the pod for looks, but, in order to create a lighter pod, it couldn’t be done.

needed hardware (not included):

(2) either servo screws or 8mm m2 screws for fpv camera.
(4) 10mm M3 Button head screws for mounting
(4) (NON-NYLOCK) M3 nuts for mounting – the nylock ones will strip out the TPU.

These pods are extremely durable, and will keep your electronics safely enclosed.

Holes were purposely left out, so that builders can customize the pod to their building style with a soldering iron (a soldering iron can make holes quickly and easily in TPU)
